Minerals spelledUsually there are higher percentages for vitamins than for minerals in a nutrient. With spelled this is the other way around. Spelling has much higher percentages in the field of minerals. There is no less than 54% of the RDA to the super healthy mineral manganese in spelled. Of phosphorus, 15% of the RDA is in an ounce. Other minerals with high nutritional values are: magnesium (13%), copper (10%), iron (9%), zinc (8%), selenium (6%) and potassium (4%).
Spelled against cardiovascular diseasePreventing cardiovascular disease is partly due to nutrition. A study by Harvard University shows that spell is good for diseases related to the heart. When someone consumes whole grains instead of white bread, the chance of dying of heart disease is reduced by 29%, the researchers conclude. More than 21,000 people participated in this study. Spelled reduces the risk of atherosclerosis; that is caking the blood vessel walls with oxidized cholesterol. Because cholesterol deposits are prevented, the chance of getting a heart attack or stroke is reduced. The consumption of whole grain products has been indicated by various scientific researchers as the cause that heart diseases occur less frequently. Eating fiber is one of the reasons that spelled bread is healthy. There are also many lignans in cereals. These lignans provide antibacterial and antiviral properties. That makes spelled extra healthy and preferable to other brown bread.

Spells well against gallstonesThe scientific medical journal American Journal of Gastroenterology has published a study that concludes that fiber-rich food prevents gallstones from getting. The reason for this is that less bile acid is produced. Another reason is that the food moves through the intestines faster. Fiber is naturally not only found in cereal products but also in legumes and vegetables such as cucumber, tomatoes and pumpkins and fruit such as pears, apples and cherries.
Spelled reduces the risk of breast cancerWomen have a 52% lower chance of developing breast cancer if fiber-rich grain foods are on the menu every day. A cohort study conducted in the United Kingdom and published in the International Journal of Epidemiology found that postmenopausal women benefited more from cereals than menopausal women. Women who were still ahead of the menopause developed a reduced 42% chance of developing breast cancer. The positive effect of grains can be related to the fiber content because dietary fibers ensure that all other nutrients, in particular antioxidants, are better absorbed by the body. Fiber obtained from fruit also reduced the risk of breast cancer, but less, namely a reduced risk of 29% for women in the pre-menopausal phase. The other reason that spelled is good against breast cancer and other hormone-related cancers such as prostate cancer is that it contains many lignans.
